Ans2) Man is selfish, full of avarice, lust, indifference and hatred. He should not forget the bitter reality that everything in this world is transitory. Death is inevitable.

Q3) Write the Sum and substance of the poem ‘Fir and ice’?
Ans3) The crystal clear message of the poet is that anything in this world is not eternal. Everything will perish either in fire or ice. We should not forget this supreme reality. We should keep ourselves above all selfish matters.
